The Open Systems Support Group provides system administration, applications and system programming, and engineering support for general access Unix computing resources available for use by all Texas A&M students, employees, faculty, and staff. We also provide publicly available Web services for the university and students, and Usenet News and LISTSERV services. Our group also supports a number of machines running specialized applications for customers, such as Evans Library. Open Systems Support also maintains the systems that support campus email and directory services, and provides support for PC-based solutions and services.
