Scott grew up in the Rio Grande Valley and operated farm equipment to earn extra money during his High School years. After his first year at TAMU he got a part time job working at the Data Processing Center (now CIS) and remained on as full time employee after graduating. His hobbies include writing music, playing guitar, kicking around a hacky sack and continuous study of Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, and Tae Kwon Do.
