Infrastructure Applications (IA) is a section within the Open Systems Support Group at CIS. Its purpose is to provide software to Texas A&M University at the enterprise level. Its customers are students, faculty, and staff at Texas A&M College Station as well as at other universities within The Texas A&M University System.
IA builds software that serves a population of well over 50,000. For that reason, we continually seek to achieve customer satisfaction by creating robust and reliable products through quality control procedures. IA brings its developers as individuals or in small teams into projects that work across organizational lines and apply methodologies appropriate to the project. IA is also chartered to be innovative and to explore new technologies and solutions to problems at both local and enterprise levels.
