CIS is dedicated to providing the resources necessary for our customers to achieve their missions. We provide database and supercomputing resources to students and faculty engaged in all aspects of research and large-scale computation.
The database system that includes information for every student enrolled at Texas A&M University and Texas A&M-Galveston is maintained by the SIMS group. They are charged with the maintenance, operation, user training, and customer support for this system. Faculty and staff who use technology in their instruction of academic courses can take advantage of free computer classes offered by the Employee Services Center for Employee Education.
