
Texas A&M has taken several steps to combat problems of spam, viruses, service attacks, and many other security threats. Listed below are a few of the university's efforts in combating these problems.
Much of the spam and virus traffic that you would have otherwise received is filtered out at the university level by the email relay machines. While we can't catch it all, we do what we can to make sure that you receive as few of these messages as possible.
The Information Security Forum (ISF) has been developed at Texas A&M to promote responsible information security practices on campus.
