
Each student living in residence halls has access to an Ethernet connection. These connections can be used to access the university's computing resources and to reach the Internet. CIS also offers cable modem service in the university-owned apartments.
Wireless access to the network and the Internet is provided through the TAMULink service.
Members of the Texas A&M community can access the campus network and the Internet through a dial-up bank consisting of 2,000 modems. For those interested in broadband service, your two options are DSL offered by Verizon Online or cable offered by SuddenLink Communications. For those who have a third-party Internet service provider, the VPN service allows users to securely connect to the campus network.
