RSS Feeds

There are many features that can be utilized through the new TAMU Email including subscribing to various RSS feeds.  RSS Feeds which stand for Really Simple Syndication is a family of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines or podcasts. First, find the RSS feed's URL that you wish to subscribe. In our case we will go to tamu.edu and click on the orange next to the words News Headlines. After clicking on this orange icon go to the toolbar and copy this URL.  From your inbox create a new folder and in our case we will name it RSS TAMU. After naming the new folder check the Subscribe to RSS/ATOM feed. After checking this box it will ask you to give the URL which we have just pulled from university's web site. Paste the URL and then click on the new folder just created. Now you will receive emails updating you on campus events at Texas A&M. You can personally subscribe to any RSS feed following these instructions.
