Another great feature the new TAMU email offers is the Messages and Conversation Views. From your inbox you can toggle between two views- individual messages or conversation threads; to do this click on the view tab's down arrow and select between the two. While in conversation view, when a new message is added to the conversation it appears at the top. The fragment feature shows the first few words of the new message. There are also counters to the right of the conversations in your inbox. This feature shows the number of individual messages within the conversation. The conversations that are bold contain one or more unread messages. To view the individual messages double click on the message in your inbox. In both message view and conversation view there is also a drag and drop feature which allows you to drag any conversation and drop it into a different folder.
If you ALWAYS want to group your mail in conversation view -click on preferences, then click on the mail tab, find the group mail by option, hit the drop down arrow and select conversation. This will default all your messages to be viewed by conversation rather than messages.
