With more complex system requirements, upgrades, patches, viruses and hacker threats, systems have become a significant technical challenge for departments to maintain.
Whether your organization maintains that system through professional computer support staff, student/faculty support, a third-party vendor, or some combination of these approaches, our certified Office Computing Support Services (OCSS) team members can help.
At the simplest level, the OCSS team can provide free first-come, first-serve telephone and email support (979) 845-9999. For a nominal hourly fee, one of our team members can visit your place of business to render assistance on a case-by-case basis.
If you consider continuity of reliable service and the complexity of system maintenance too important to address only when something goes wrong, our team members can be hired on a contractual basis to provide regular support. These contracts are offered in increments of one quarter FTE (Full-Time Equivalence) and are sized based on needs.
If your organization has a professional computer support staff, we also may be able to help. Staff professionals are busy maintaining their systems, and often do not have the time for unforeseen maintenance issues. For a nominal hourly charge, OCSS professionals can work with your staff persons on a project-by-project basis to reduce the backlog of long-term improvement projects or desired system enhancements.
We are competitive with off-campus third-party vendors, and as active members of the university community, offer the assurance of continued availability over the years.
