The purchase of computer hardware at Texas A&M University is the responsibility of individual colleges and departments. The Associate Provost for Information Technology does, however, offer grants to keep faculty workstations up to date.
CIS also offers warranty and repair services for most university-owned computer equipment. We are a certified Apple, Dell, and Gateway warranty repair center, so if you have any of these systems that are still under warranty, you can have them repaired on campus rather than sending them to the vendor.
