Dr. Pete Marchbanks currently serves as Interim Executive Director of Computing and Information Services (CIS). Dr. Marchbanks is also the Director of Instructional Media Services.
Since 1967, Dr. Marchbanks has served in a variety of technical and managerial roles for administrative computing development projects, technology resource accounting, and customer service operations. He also has taught computer science courses at Texas A&M. Dr. Marchbanks formerly held the position of system coordinator for the Comptroller of the US Army's Office of Information Systems. He earned a bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and master's and doctoral degrees in computer science from Texas A&M University.
