Online Documents on TAMU Email
The Documents feature provides a central place to develop, organize, and share information online through Texas A&M University Email.
- Create, share, and publish documents online.
- Add spreadsheets, images, or other attachments to documents.
- Share (read and/or write access) or publish (read only) with a simple URL.
How TAMU Email Documents Work
Documents consist of notebooks with individual pages organized with a table of contents. One default notebook is created for you. Create new notebooks and even set up notebooks within notebooks, depending on how you want to organize your information. You can easily create new pages and add content using a rich-text editor or HTML formatting.
Notebooks can be shared with others. Set permissions for other users, allowing them to create and edit within a notebook or just view the pages. A notification email can be sent to the user about the shared notebook.
TAMU Email users simply click "Accept Share" to be able to view the shared notebook. External users are given a URL to view the notebook, a username (their email address), and a password that you set that gives them access.
