Sympa
Sympa is an email list manager that supports Texas A&M official mailing lists. It generates email recipient lists based on attribute criteria submitted to databases. Email addresses are pulled from the databases each time an email is sent to ensure that the most up-to-date information is used. Sympa automates other aspects of list management such as moderating and sending messages to the lists, and managing archives. TAMUDirect mailing lists use Sympa to verify that an email is authentic and to distribute the message to target recipients.
