Rechargeable Battery Recycling

CIS Microcomputer Repair accepts some rechargeable batteries for recycling. 
 
Allowed battery types include Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd), Lithium Ion (Li-ion), and Small Sealed Lead (Pb) that are less than 2 lbs. These batteries can be found in cell phones, cordless phones, cordless power tools, laptop computers, PDAs, two-way radios, camcorders, and remote control toys.

Note: Non-rechargeable batteries, such as alkaline and lithium, are not accepted. 
 
The rechargeable battery recycling program is provided through Texas A&M's Environmental Health & Safety Department.
